Storm Water Pollution Prevention
As required by the federal National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is a documented, step-by-step process for ensuring that pollutants are not making their way into storm water discharges from a construction site. VC&A staff are all trained in and experienced with SWPPP implementation and inspection. We are currently on the California Department of Transporation (Caltrans) Storm Water Task Force, with consultants, university experts, and Caltrans personnel.
