VC&A is Proud to Announce the Appointment of Agnes Weber, PE as President

In her new role, she will be supported by a strong management team that has been in place for over a decade.   Agnes will continue to foster the family traditions and culture of VC&A that the company’s late founder, Vali Cooper instilled, while expanding VC&A’s current capabilities and ventures into new areas.  With her enthusiasm, hard work ethic and respect within the industry, she will continue her leadership and participation in professional organizations and efforts to shape legislation that affects our industry.

Agnes began her career with Caltrans in San Diego in 1985 after graduating from San Diego State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.  She has been part of the VC&A team for the past thirteen years. Throughout her career, Agnes has been active in several professional organizations including Northern California CMAA past-president, ACEC chairperson on several committees and is currently a board member of the California Transportation Foundation. In addition to her new role, she will continue to serve as VC&A’s Chief Operating Officer.  

Agnes’ personal interests include traveling with Jeff Funk, her husband of 19 years.  She especially enjoys visiting Germany, her country of birth, to spend time with family and friends. Other interests include skiing, cooking, entertaining, reading and various charitable activities.
